User Service Requests (USRs) are requests made by the FAST/GEMS Teams for development or modifications to the University of South Florida’s Enterprise Business Systems. Changes to USF’s Enterprise Business Systems may be state mandated, a business necessity, or discretionary. The review, approval, prioritization, and implementation of USRs follow a prescribed process for the applicable system.
The requestor should provide the requirements for the changes and should include as much information and research to:
- Demonstrate that an issue exists
- Provide justification that development work is needed to resolve the issue
- Provide a solution or seek assistance for a solution

Once submitted, the USR will be routed to the relevant Functional Project Manager (FPM) for initial assessment and review. The FPM may ask for additional information. The requestor may check the status of their USR at any time utilizing the USR Search page.
